For example, IR encourages finding and extracting knowledge
from specific fields of endeavor and showing how that knowledge can
serve in additional fields and applications. It encourages attention to
the interactive dynamics among individuals, communities, organizations,
societies, and international bodies. It invites attention to categories
such as the socio-cultural, political, economic, technological, and
environmental. Taken as a whole, IR attempts to portray the range of
factors that need to be integrated into effective approaches to today’s
complex issues.
IR is published by ARINA Inc., a U.S. tax exempt
501(c)(3) organization. The publisher's mission is to model, teach,
research, publish, promote, and institutionalize holistic, integral
understandings and processes that can be incorporated into efforts to
address complex issues within individual, social, and global needs.
IR’s strategy to support this international mission
is the publication of works across a range of disciplines and cultures
that may inform, support, and challenge readers in new ways. Works
published are selected for their potential to help IR's audience develop
a variety of resources necessary for being effective change agents.
IR is also the designated forum for
the initial publication of integral social scientific research and
project evaluations done under the auspices of ARINA. Original articles
may appear in English or other languages with an English abstract. |
